Here we go; Oct 2022

Wow, it's been a busy week for everyone. Now is the time to get started on planning your agritourism business and to learn more about everything that's involved in starting and running a successful business.

Where to start?
Let's take it one step at a time.
This week, set aside a strategic planning block, 2 to 3 hours of uninterrupted time to work on your agritourism business.
If you make this a regular day in the week and time, the more it'll become a 'habit'. It's a way to keep making progress.
  1. Go through the planning sheets in your folder and fill in the gaps where you can.
  2. If you prefer to type the info on the planning sheet, you can download the sheets below.
  3. Have a think about your long term goals, your vision if you like.

Hashtags ## you can use for your instagram posts

Hashtags are like a search word that make it easy to find your Instagram account. People follow Instagram accounts, but also #hashtags that are of interest for them. For example, I follow #agritourismnz and everyone that uses that hashtag then appears in my feed.
Tip: check what hashtags other (large) accounts are using.
Use about 10-20 hashtags (less is fine too)

Below are some ideas for hashtags relevant to an agritourism business:
  • Your own business's hashtag e.g.: #thegrumpymerino
  • Your region's hashtag e.g. #centralotagonz, or more specifically #alexandranz
  • Hashtags specific to the topic in the photo or video, eg. #highlandcows
  • #agritourismnz
  • #agritourism
  • #nzfarming
  • #nzmustdo
  • #purenz
  • #dosomethingnewnz
Now, make your own list!
